Welcome to the 2nd instalment of Jonny's Journal!

Month 3 done! Second newsletter. I hope you guys are ready for this months instalment as we have achieved some pretty incredible things and there is a tonne of free value packed into this newsletter.

Introduction:

Right lets tackle the first point, I want to show you some insight into what I am currently doing and how I hope the transparency can help you do similar.

For those of you that are new, in last months newsletter I said this:

Like whatttttt.

Stop and think right now, leaving a £36,000 a year job at 24, to chase the dream of being a TubeYouber and building an E-commerce brand. If you told 16 year old Jonny we actually have the confidence now to be pursuing this, he would of been ecstatic.

Genuinely ECSTATIC!

The fact that I am even writing this Newsletter to 200 people is crazy in itself (now over 3,000 people). I know 150 of you will probably unsubscribe and I would too, this is a long email lol. But for the 50 or so of you that stay, let me start by saying this. If you don't like the direction of your current life, you are going to NEED to take some risks to change that. - These numbers have increased massively but the premise is the same!

I have now been doing this full time for 3 months and I have to say - I am loving it! So let me tell you what's happened in June.

In May I went all in on scaling my E-commerce brand and managed to hit my first ever 1k day (£1,180.98) and my first ever 10k month (£11,683.11) which was incredible, but of course this is only revenue and to keep scaling like this I would need to order much more stock! I only had 200 units and as I was going to sell out in a matter of days at that high Ad budget so because of this I decided to reduce my Ads from over $300 to $5 per day. Then I ordered more stock from my manufacturer making a few tweaks in the design and quality and that's where I am now.

Unfortunately because I did not forecast the requirement for the new stock I was kinda screwed... It is going to take 3 months for my next supply which means no money coming in.This is a massive lesson to anyone wanting to do E-com, make sure as soon a you want to start scaling that you are forecasting your resupply's of inventory so this does not happen to you!

Because of this situation, I decided June is the month I go all in on YouTube and this is what I did! To say that the last 3 years of graft has paid off in one month is not an understatement. I massively worked on my video scripting, subject, quality and value. Then I hired a video editor to improve the visuals and posted consistently. NOW the numbers are wild, just bear in mind I have been posting YouTube videos for 2 years with little to no progress.

So my June Analytics are as follows:

I gained 455,898 total views,

22,517 Hours of watch time,

and I gained 12,194 new subscribers!

I was accepted into the YouTube partner program and I am finally monetised!

This is insane and I genuinely never thought I'd hit 10k at the end of 2023, let alone hit 15k by July!

I just want to say I never wanted to do YouTube as a business, I earn my money from my E-commerce brand! I have just loved watching YouTube my whole life, learnt so many things, followed a tonne of other entrepreneurs crazy success journeys and been incredibly inspired. Therefore I have always had the goal of becoming YouTuber chasing my own dreams and maybe this will inspire someone else's entrepreneurial journey!

Side hustles & what am I doing next?

The side hustles I am currently trying are: building an E-commerce brand, Instagram Theme Page, YouTube Channel, and now I have added a few extras. So let me give you guys the scoop before anyone gets to see.

I have tried selling physical products, I have tried selling digital products but what I haven't sold is a service. Because I have been massively enjoying trying out new AI projects, I was racking my brain the other day with what service I could provide in this niche.

Then a friend of mine Liam message me about Automating Businesses customer service through building custom chat bots. I hadn't even thought of this idea before, but with personal experience of dealing with repetitive customer messages I was extremely excited to learn about this.

So grand reveal, I am creating my own AI Automation service which I am creating my own chat bot for. I will then test this on my own company customer service and then the plan is to offer it to other brands.

I want to try the entire business model of selling a service from cold outreach, acquiring leads, closing deals and the software required to run this business smoothly. Have you seen much about AIAA's? I think this is the SMMA of 2023, let me know if this is something you're interested in learning about.

Attention economy.

This is the biggest lesson from this month - Utilising the eye balls social media is providing to create streams of income. Now I have amassed 500k views in 28 days on my YouTube channel, over a million accounts reached on my instagram theme page and I don't push any products...

The idea is I don't want to be scammy and be pushing a course, but there are so many business models out there that would massively help people wanting to get into this online space. And my friend mentioned that if I had just a 0.5% conversion of 500,000 of a product from $25 - $50, I could of potentially generated over $50,000. Which is insane to think. But I don't want to just do a course I want to build a community and I want to actually be involved in helping people build an online business for themselves. (Because this is what I enjoy the most)

However I have been spending a lot of time creating these videos and resources and to be able to continue this I am going to have to find a way to monetise my time. So my solution is to create a closed Discord community limited to 50 people, where I will have a Instagram Theme Page specialist, multiple 100k plus video editors, graphic designers and an insane amount of done for you reels, ai videos, viral sounds and more, with an affiliate links to be able to earn commission from sales. Not only will you have access, to people, knowledge, assets and tools - but I also want to hold group calls twice a week to discuss the best methods to making money online, reveal secret strategies and ultimately the goal is to create a group of 50 people who are making at least $100 per month online, and be able to scale this to multiple 4, 5 and 6 figures by 2024.

More importantly I will be launching the beta access on the 15th. So lookout for this email.
