Welcome the 3rd instalment of Jonny's Journal!

July is over, month 4 done! This is my third email, so strap in...

Firstly a question to you...

I’m still unsure on how exactly to format these emails, so any feedback would be massively appreciated!

Typically I have followed the following format:

1) A once a month snippet into my life

2) Insights into upcoming projects and hustles you can try with me!

3) I'll reveal all of my resources/ tools and secrets.

4) Community building giveaways and opportunities to work together!

5) Genuine honest content that may take a tad more effort than endless meme scrolling and reels melting your brain, but we all know that is good for nothing!

But I honestly think this makes the email too long!

Although I really want to build a good relationship with you guys, and providing insight into my life does that.

Your time is precious and a long email once a month may be off putting.

So I’m thinking a once a week small email is better, but I would love to hear your thoughts!

I have a lot of piping hot tea to spill, so for August I will do a weekly email instalment.

But more on that later.

Back to today's topic - making more money…

Correct me if I am wrong, but the majority of people that I have spoken to - want to start a side business/hustle.

Why?

Well, people will give you all sorts of answers, but if they’re being honest it boils down to:

1) Life is expensive.

2) We could all do with a little more cash to live!

So in August this is what I want to focus on.

What is the best side hustle for the modern day person who has, let's say 30 mins to an hour a day?

I have tried Amazon FBA, Dropshipping, White Label E-com, YouTube, Instagram Theme Pages, Affiliate marketing and Stock trading.

Looking back, the craziest return on investment (ROI) activity I have done will probably surprise you…

The activity? I spent 12 months fighting on the front lines of the wild west of finance - Crypto.

More specifically a space called De-Fi (decentralised finance).

I generated over £100,000 in a matter of weeks from buying and selling crypto currencies…

Pause... (Please don’t stop reading because I mention Crypto, I am not Logan Paul - no crypto scam is coming here, don’t worry ahah.)

But I bet you haven’t even heard of De-Fi?

My point…

After this experience I realised that new information is the secret to wealth.

Not - more hard work!

What do I mean?

Everyone online, telling you about how easy it is to do their side hustle, is LYING.

All 'side hustles' are like a job, they require a lot of time to be successful and if you are busy with an actual job, kids, friends, work commitments etc.

It’s tough to fit it all in.

But new information, technology and innovation offer crazy new opportunities!

99% of the time, like the Crypto pumps, these are not hard to take advantage of.

They just require you to have access to the right information, at the right time.

So where exactly am I going with this?

Stop and think - What is the current massive new rapidly developing technology?…

Artificial Intelligence.

I was early to crypto in 2017, but I was lazy, naive and stupid.

I was early during the pandemic when the stock and crypto markets crashed - But again I didn’t capitalise on the opportunities, because I was too scared. (Scared money don't make money)

Then in 2021, I was sick of missing opportunities and I went in the other direction - I was reckless, greedy and overwhelmed by opportunity. Hundreds of thousands of dollars rolled into my bank and rolled back out.

Which if I am being honest changed my whole mindset on money, and made me realise we make it a lot more complicated than it needs to be.

The cycle works like this - New technology creates opportunity, the people that make money - stay in the loop of that development and capitalise by taking action early.

We’re at a new point of opportunity and it is within A.I.

These are 3 huge opportunities I see:

Customer service (chat bots)
Content creation (faceless brands)
Automation services (streamlining businesses)

Now which topic should you pick?

I’m going to break these down individually for you and I will personally try each one.

Documenting them all so you can see which one works best.

But I urge you to research these individually yourself, and capitalise! I will provide guidance in future emails. But more on that later!

Okay so at this point I usually do my monthly giveaway!

July roundup.

A mini update on the month of July for the people that are, like me and are interested in following along with people's lives.

I honestly had a bit of a shocker, haha. The super productive Jonny has left the chat.

I have struggled massively with phone addiction, late nights and probably the least motivation I have had for a long time.

However, I am not complaining this is my own fault, I am a goal orientated guy and I set realistic goals.

I hit these goals and then I have had a bit of a gap where I haven’t set new goals.

This has left me empty of what to do…

In addition to this, I also took the huge gamble of investing all of my additional savings into stock for my E-com brand.

So it’s safe to say, ya boys gone all in ahaha. (Low key scared)

I really want to capitalise on Q4 and I think this will massively benefit anyone interested in starting a business, as I’ll be super transparent and show you all the numbers behind the scenes.

Why?

Speaking to other E-com friends, in Q4 businesses typically make 70% of their yearly sales!

So this is the best time to have a bunch of stock!

My goal at the end of 2022 was to create a 6 figure revenue business, by the end 2023. (we’re 79,000 ish away so have a lot to do!)

But all in all it means no savings float for me. (the scary part)

So if you see a few sponsored videos coming up on my Channel, they’re keeping me afloat aha. But I will always only promote products that I actually find valuable!

I have managed to put myself in a position where YouTube can cover my bills and so with this comes an opportunity which I have taken, to go even harder with my E-com brand!

As Billy Napier said “Scared make, don’t make money!”

Fingers crossed it pays off!
